About Stephen

Steve has more than 35 years of experience, having started his career as a professional broadcaster at the age of 18.

Before beginning his consulting and executive coaching work, Steve served as the Vice President of Marketing, Communications, and Strategy for a US$1 billion business unit with 5,000 employees in 10 countries for CH2M, a FORTUNE 500 firm, which has since been acquired by Jacobs Engineering.

In 2019, Steve finished 12 years of service as a member of the Board of Regents (board of directors), which oversees the US$5.2 billion University of Colorado System. As a Regent, he served as the Vice Chair of the Board, and as Chair of the Audit, Academic Affairs, Budget & Finance, Laws & Policies (university governance), Capitol Construction, and Strategic Planning committees.

Steve’s high business acumen, understanding of leadership and complex organizations, and years of experience provide his consulting and coaching clients insight and clarity, practical advice, and honest feedback to help individuals and organizations grow in new and dynamic ways.
